The ISO 17025:2017 Accreditation demonstrates that our laboratory is capable of providing consistent valid results, our inspection team has been sufficiently trained on the approved method, and that all accredited measurement results can be traced back to the International System of Units (SI) and an accreditation body (ANAB). With the use of our Accredited Zeiss Contura G2, ANAB has approved that we have demonstrated our ability to consistently repeat and reproduce dimensional measurement results through our inspection method with uncertainty values. Our Zeiss Contura G2 can measure parts on the X-Axis up to 1000 mm, Y-Axis up to 1200 mm and up to 600 mm on the Z-Axis.
As of 6/30/2021, Astley Metrology is officially an ISO 17025:2017 Accredited Lab (Certificate # AD-2999) through the accrediting body, ANAB. Please click here to view our accreditation certificate. What this means is that we are a complete one stop shop. Astley Precision can manufacture, assemble, repair, and now Astley Metrology can certify inspection results back to an accrediting body. We have found that many of our customers require ISO 17025:2017 certified inspection results, with uncertainty values, in order to be compliant.
