High-tech turning.
Our turning department has seven lathes at its disposal, ranging from standard 2-axis CNC equipment to an advanced 3-axis Mori Seiki with live tooling. We use modern carbide tooling and can achieve surface finishes up to 4 µin (RMS), often avoiding the need to polish the part afterwards. We can accommodate nearly any turning project, whether it’s a miniature part or something 20” in diameter. Even more, our machinists and toolmakers are always searching for ways to optimize their manufacturing methods to decrease production time and cost.
Our programmers have dedicated computer workstations for 2D and 3D modeling, and our skilled craftsman can even program directly from the shop floor on their machine. We use the latest version of Mastercam and can read all popular file formats. Send us your drawing or solid model today and we’ll turn it into a part!
